The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine is 95% effective in preventing the COVID-19 virus with symptoms. COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective, evaluated in tens of thousands of participants in clinical trials. The vaccines met the rigorous scientific standards of the FDA and CDC for safety and effectiveness.

Getting your student vaccinated against COVID-19 is the best way for them to stay involved in activities and to prevent being quarantined due to exposure. A COVID-19 vaccine allows student athletes to be able to play the entire season and helps maintain in-person learning.

If you are unable to attend one of the free vaccine clinics listed above, you can register your student to receive the vaccine at a different time and location by visiting www.immunizepolk.com.
