Spring Commencement – Class of 2017

Students in caps and gowns

Between May 24 and 28, members of the Class of 2017 will be presented with their diplomas.

Between May 24 and 28, hundreds of students in the Class of 2017 throughout Des Moines will don their caps and gowns, walk across a stage, and receive their high school diploma.

And from there, each will take the first step towards the next stage in their lives.

Commencement is a district-wide celebration of the academic accomplishments that have led each student to the successful completion of high school. It is an uplifting event for all of Des Moines Public Schools as we celebrate each and every graduate.

Congratulations, in advance, to every member of the Class of 2017 – along with their teachers, parents, family and friends. We look forward to the celebration of our extraordinary students at this year’s commencement ceremonies.
