District to Hold Job Fair
Des Moines Public Schools will hold a job fair for applicants interested in applying for a School Improvement Leader position. The job fair will be held:
Friday, March 12
8 a.m. to Noon
Plymouth Congregational Church
42nd & Ingersoll
Waveland Hall (second floor)
The district has more than 20 high school and middle school positions available. School Improvement Leaders will lead efforts for improvements in student achievement and staff performance through professional development and instructional leadership, monitor student success through counseling and discipline management, and supervise general administrative tasks. Applicants should bring a resume and be prepared to discuss their qualifications with DMPS associate superintendents, executive directors, and principals. Those selected for an interview will receive a phone call following the job fair. Interviews will take place on Monday, March 15, and Tuesday, March 16.
