DMPS Community Center & Clinic
Service for All at Scavo/Central Campus
The DMPS Community Center & Clinic, located in Scavo High School at Central Campus, provides health and support services for all students at Des Moines Public Schools. From physical exams to dental care to a food pantry, the facility is available and accessible to all DMPS students.
HEALTH CARE
Primary Health Care (PHC) is a non-profit community health center providing basic health care services at the DMPS clinic. PHC is dedicated to and specializes in serving those who may experience barriers to receiving health care.
The DMPS clinic will provide care to students experience illness, conduct athletic physicals, give immunizations and other basic primary care services.
The PHC medical and support staff look forward to serving the families of Des Moines Public Schools.

DENTAL CARE
The Nolden Gentry Dental Clinic, operated by Dental Connections, is a critical asset in meeting oral health care needs and creating a seamless system of accessible, affordable care for DMPS students. Sliding and see fee systems are available for dental care.
Dental Connections offers easy access to dental care for students of all ages. Services include preventative dental care and treatment needs.
The dental staff focuses on the needs of each student, with the goal of making each student comfortable during their dental visit.
