Following last night’s qualifying meets for the State Track and Field High School Championship, the Iowa High School Athletic Association and the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union released their list of state qualifiers Friday afternoon.

Student-athletes from all five DMPS comprehensive high schools – East, Hoover, Lincoln, North and Roosevelt – have qualified, and will be competing in a total of 30 different events.

The State championship is held from Thursday, May 17 through Saturday, May 19 at Drake Stadium here in Des Moines. For more information, visit the IAHSAA or IGHSAU web sites.
