Minorities on the Move: Mark Your Calendar for August 13

Students from Minorities on the Move, a summer creative writing program made possible by United Way, will perform in a showcase called The Youth Speak on Monday, August 13 at historic Hoyt Sherman Place at 6:00. Admission for the event is FREE!

Minorities on the Move was started by Harding teachers Emily Lang and Kristopher Rollins as an extension of their Movement 515 program which meets regularly during the school year. They and their Harding colleague, Larry Moore, recently returned from the Brave New Voices (BNV) youth poetry festival in San Francisco where six of their students participated. All members of the DMPS delegation to BNV will perform during the event on August 13.

Come and see the district’s Graduate Ends happening, right before your very eyes!
