CEQ Chair Visits North High

Nancy Sutley, the chair of the White House Council on Envionrmental Quality and President Obama’s top advisor on the environment, visited North High School. She wanted a first-hand look at some of the energy conservation and efficiency work in Des Moines Public Schools, which has been a national leader in this effort. She also met with a group of students to discuss the President’s recent State of the Union address and any questions about federal environmental and energy policies.
