Culinary Arts Students Win Multiple Awards

CA1The Central Campus Culinary Arts department, under the direction of Chef John Andres won many awards at the SkillsUSA State Championships last week.  Congratulations to Chef Andres and his team.

Additionally, congratulations are in order for Molly Reisman and Mackenzie Sleeth (East) for serving as State Officers this schoolyear for SkillsUsa Iowa.

Alyssa Burton-Pilcher, Saltlynn Nail, and Molly Reisman will now progress to SkillsUSA National Leadership Conference June 20-24 in Louisville, KY to represent Iowa competing on the national level!

Many of these students participate in Central Campus Café days. There are three dates left this school year, May 5, 6 and 12.  Café hours are 10:50 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the café is located at Central Campus in the board room.
